Judson Senior Living in Cleveland, Ohio is currently seeking a Vice President of Foundation.

This is a full time position located at our Judson Park location, nestled in the tranquil, tree-lined streets of Cleveland Heights, offering retirement and assisted living options.

What will I do in this role with Judson Senior Living?

As a VP of Foundation, supporting the Judson mission will include the following responsibilities:

  • Design, create and direct the fundraising programs for Judson Foundation, a separately incorporated 501 (c) 3 subsidiary of Judson Services, Inc., in order to broaden the base of support for all of Judson's programs and communities including Judson Manor, Judson Park, South Franklin Circle, and Judson Home Care and to reach stated financial goals
  • Judson Foundation's giving programs include the Annual Fund, the Tribute Fund, planned giving (primarily bequests and gift annuities), major gifts and grants, and special initiatives for capital improvements, program enhancements and resident subsidies
  • Overseeing all aspects of fund raising and donor relations including:  planning and implementing all fund raising campaigns, identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major donors; communication and coordination of the Judson Foundation Board activities; development of case statement(s) and written materials including grant applications; and management of Foundation administrative activities

What do I need for this role with Judson?

  • College degree with a minimum of five years of direct development experience required 
  • Graduate degree preferred
  • Computer literacy required (word processing, spreadsheet and database, preferably with Microsoft Office software)
  • Blackbaud Raiser's Edge version 7 preferred
